Graduation Updates – Practice Date Changed!
A message from Ms. Lynch with important updates about graduation practice, graduation tickets and, cap and gown distribution:
Dear Senior Class of 2021,
To provide an opportunity for all Seniors to participate in the graduation practice, the date has been moved to Monday, June 14, 2021. Practice will take place in the Main Gymnasium at Garfield High School, 10:00a.m.-11:30a.m. Please plan to start arriving at 9:30a.m. Please plan to attend the practice to insure your graduation ceremony goes smoothly and you know what to expect.
We have received confirmation that each graduate will receive four tickets. Guests will be required to sit in a pod of four. At this time we do not know when or how the tickets will be distributed.
Good news! You will have the opportunity to walk across the stage when your name is called if you participate in the “live” ceremony.
Next Cap & Gown Drive thru date is Wednesday, May 26th, between 10:00a.m.-12:00noon, through the Bus Zone located on the Westside of Garfield High School. Please be advised that the company does not leave the cap and gown orders at Garfield for us to distribute other times. Your last opportunity to pick up your cap and gown at Garfield will be Monday, June 14th (the day before graduation.)
