Invitation to apply to join the BEX/BTA Oversight Committee
Dear SPS Families,
Seattle Public Schools currently has four openings (two openings with a two-year duration and two openings with a four-year duration) on the BEX/BTA Capital Programs Oversight Committee. This committee oversees planning and implementation of the Building Excellence (BEX) and Buildings, Technology and Academics (BTA) capital levies and makes recommendations concerning progress of the BEX and BTA capital programs. The committee oversees the planning, prioritization and implementation of current and future BEX and BTA programs. The committee also makes recommendations on the identity, scope and priority of projects to be included in future BEX and BTA capital levies. The committee holds regular meetings on the second Friday of each month from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. but may meet more often if required.
