Juneteenth Celebration — Wednesday, June 19

Hey Bulldogs!

On Wednesday, June 19th from 2:45-3:45pm in the Career Center we will host JUNETEENTH! What is Juneteenth you ask?? It is the Emancipation of the last remaining enslaved people in the United States and is often affectionately known as this Nation’s African-American Independence Day. This is a student-led event hosted by Garfield alum Denaijah Kennedy-Smith and will feature performances, music, spoken word & more! 

Please help us celebrate by spreading the word and/or donating food and drinks for this amazing event!
