Meet Tyson Manzin! New 2016 GHS Librarian

Mr. Manzin is a GHS alum, class of 1993. In fact, Janet Woodward, Garfield’s former librarian whom is he replacing, was once his Washington State History teacher! His first school librarian job, at Emerson Elementary, was formerly held by his mother for 18 years. So his connections to the community are immense!

He enjoys the challenges of the curriculum at Garfield, and its social interactions, which “push me daily to be a better me.”

His advice to students is to keep their options open and pursue a career course they love and personally motivates them.
