Oct. 12 PSAT & SAT: What’s Next

Garfield seniors and juniors took SAT or PSAT tests at the school on October 12. There are some next steps coming soon.

SAT: Seniors should be able to see their scores online on November 2 by signing into their College Board account. [https://studentscores.collegeboard.org/viewscore].  Also, see information on sending scores to colleges [https://sendsatscores.collegeboard.org].

PSAT: Juniors should be able to see their scores online on December 5 by signing into their College Board account. [https://studentscores.collegeboard.org/viewscore]. The College Board has suggestions what to do next, and explains which organizations receive students’ contact information [https://satsuite.collegeboard.org/psat-nmsqt/scores/using-your-score].

The PSAT score may also lead to scholarships administered thorough the National Merit Scholarship Corp. Students who qualify will be contacted in September 2023 [https://www.nationalmerit.org/s/1758/interior.aspx?sid=1758&gid=2&pgid=424].
