Preferred Superintendent Candidate Announced

Dear families, staff and partners,

At the regular School Board meeting on Wednesday, April 4, the board selected Denise Juneau as its preferred candidate for superintendent, pending successful completion of contract negotiations.

The board collected feedback from families, students, staff and community members to develop a profile that included key qualities and preferred experience of the new superintendent. Thank you to everyone who took time to provide valuable input during the process. The top candidates were interviewed by the board, labor representatives and the leadership team, and the three finalists visited the district for a day. The board conducted final interviews following their visits. At the April 25 Regular Board Meeting, the Board anticipates voting on a negotiated contract.
