The program has three parts: language class, cultural activities, and leadership workshops.
In your language class, you’ll study Mandarin Chinese, Arabic, or Korean in an immersive setting. You’ll learn to communicate about your everyday needs in a new language, such as introducing yourself or reading a menu. Plus, you’ll get high school world language credit!
Cultural activities will allow you to practice your language skills in a fun and relaxed environment. A few activities our students have done in the past include: learning basic taekwondo, practicing Arabic calligraphy, cooking Chinese scallion pancakes, and much more!
Once a week, you’ll participate in Leadership workshops that will push you to better understand your self, your community, and your world.
Thanks to our generous sponsor, STARTALK, tuition for the program is just $25 per session!
The deadline to register is June 6th, but all classes will be capped at 17 students and are first-come, first-served.
