School Day SAT is Coming!! — Wednesday, March 7

On Wednesday, March 7, all 11th graders will have the opportunity to take the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) with the Essay. This is being paid for by the district, and students have been automatically registered for the exam. Because the SAT is a College Board exam, we are required to follow their rules and regulations for test administration, including start time. Student should report to the Gym by 7:15 AM on testing day so that we may begin the test on time.  Once the doors to the Gym have closed and locked, no students will be admitted to the exam.

Students who do not wish to test may attend their regular classes, but any classes that are ONLY 11th grade (LA and US History) will not be in session. Those teachers will be proctoring the exam and not teaching their 11th grade classes.

Students should arrive on time and bring their ID along with #2 pencils and a calculator. None will be available for them to borrow in the Gym.

If students have been approved for College Board accommodations then they should arrive to the counseling center by 8 AM on March 7. They will be assigned a proctor for testing.

If you have any questions please email Kris McBride, testing coordinator, at krmcbride@seattleschools.org.
