Seattle Public Schools New Online Payment System, SchoolPay
Seattle Public Schools are excited to announce their new online payment system, SchoolPay. SchoolPay is a safe and quick way to review and pay all of your student’s fees or fines from the comfort of your own home or mobile device. You can pay with your credit/debit card or electronic check. SchoolPay will be ready for the 2017-18 school year in three phases: Phase 1—10 high and 5 middle schools, Phase 2—remaining middle and K8 schools, Phase 3—elementary schools.
Garfield High School will be a Phase 1 participating school.
Source account users and legal guardians of students in one of our Phase 1 participating high or middle schools will be able to start using the system in the Fall of 2017. You will need to log into your Source account to create a SchoolPay login. Follow the four steps below to register and/or create a single sign on account registered with the district.
Registration Steps:
- Go to the Source and click the SchoolPay icon this September
- Enter your registered Source email address
- If you don’t have a valid email in the system you will be guided to create a guest account. You will need your student’s ID number and school name to continue. Guest accounts will not have visibility to balances due to privacy requirements but can make payments on a student’s behalf. Only the validated parent will have access to all student information
- Once logged in to SchoolPay, click “Payments” to see fee based items for the students associated with your SchoolPay account in one schools participating in Phase 1. If two or more students are associated with your SchoolPay account, click on the drop-down arrow next to “all items by name” to view items by student.
You will have the ability to make online payments for curricular and extra-curricular items any time of day or night on behalf of your students using SchoolPay. For any further information or questions, please review our Parent Brochure, or the SchoolPay Page under the Department of Technology Services.
