Seattle Times Education Lab Facebook Conversation with Teachers & Parents of Students of Color

For years, The Seattle Times Education Lab has examined the ways school districts are trying to address the inequities faced by many students of color. In that reporting, they have consistently seen a lack of effective communication between schools and families. 

As a result, they are hosting a monthlong, moderated Facebook conversation with parents of students of color and teachers from across the state, including paraeducators — two groups that don’t often talk. (The discussion will be in a private group, but they will find ways to share the insights gained.)
