The Pen is Accepting Submissions for the Winter Issue – Due Jan 31

The Pen, Garfield’s literary and arts publication, is accepting submissions for the winter 2021 issue. The theme for the winter issue will be “winter trails.” We were inspired by the feeling of a fresh start after a snowfall, covering the past and leaving a blank canvas for the new year. How will you reflect on what’s frozen in the past? What imprints do you want to leave behind?

The Pen accepts work in all mediums, including but not limited to: musical compositions, photography, short stories, playlists, drawings, and poems. Please send submissions by January 31 to garfieldhspen@gmail.com with the title of your piece (can be “Untitled”) and a short explanation of how you interpreted the theme.
