Tutoring Program for Immigrant or Refugee Youth

Your student can be a positive influence in the lives of immigrant or refugee youth this summer! Youth Tutoring Program (YTP) Summer Learning Program serves at-risk students in 1st-8th grade who live in five low-income housing developments around Seattle.

Each center has a slightly different structure for their summer program, but most have two 1.5-hour sessions each afternoon, Monday through Thursday (approximately 3 – 4:30 PM and 4:30 – 6 PM). Volunteers commit to a minimum of one session per week. The program runs July 9-August 17. Their students come from diverse backgrounds—representing many nationalities, cultures, languages and religions. No tutoring experience necessary.  To learn more and sign up, click HERE,  contact, or call (206) 328-5659.
