Urban League Offers ‘Summer U’ at GHS
The 2024 Summer University Program, hosted at Garfield by the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle, is designed to keep students engaged and learning.
The program runs weekdays, 9 am-3 pm, July 1-Aug. 9. Students enrolled can expect to:

- Engage in topics such as college and career readiness, STEM, youth and politics, health and wellness, and more.
- Participate in activities such as the Freshman Bridge Program, Shark Tank Business Challenge, and Friday Field Trips.
- Receive a stipend of $600 at the end of the program.
