Volunteer Hours / Work Party at Meany Middle School – May 25

Seeking student and/or adult volunteers to help tidy up Meany Middle School’s courtyard garden spaces on Wednesday, May 25 after school. We will be weeding and mulching planting beds to get them ready for summer. Seattle Public Schools will provide tools, gloves, and compost bags. Snacks will be provided. Please bring water.

Garfield students – this counts toward your volunteer hours!

Meet in the north interior courtyard space off of E Republican Street, between 20th and 21st Avenue East. The gates will be open.

Anticipate around 2 hours of work, between 2:30 and 4:30pm. However, we would be thrilled to have as much or as little time as you have to offer. Please send any questions to Jennifer Guthrie at jkwelputtguthrie@gmail.com.
