International day for earthquake preparedness, with many Washington participants. May NOT involve any Garfield activities.
The PTSA and Building Leadership Team invite Garfield staff and student clubs to apply for funding through our Small Grants program. Deadlines are 3-4 times per year.
Deadline to submit visual arts or photography entries to the PTSA Reflections arts contest.
Families and student-athletes will be able to meet winter sports teams’ coaches; learn about topics such as tryouts; get on-the-spot sports physicals. More info.
Free PSAT/NMSQT exam for all juniors. SAT exam for those with IEP/504 accommodations or who need a makeup.

- Bring: approved calculator, #2 pencils, student ID or government ID, clear plastic water bottle (must be left at the back of the classroom)
- Don’t bring: computers, electronic devices, etc. Cell phones must be off and put away during test.
