COVID, Flu Shots at GHS
Flu and COVID-19 vaccines are available for students at the Garfield Teen Health Center! Protect yourself and our community this fall by staying up to date with recommended vaccines.
The flu vaccine is recommended for everyone 6 months of age and older to prevent sickness, healthcare visits, and missed school or work. Protection lasts throughout the flu season, which usually peaks in January or February and continues into the spring.
The 2023-24 COVID-19 vaccine is recommended to protect against serious illness from COVID-19.
The Garfield Teen Health Center is a school-based clinic operated by the Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic. The clinic offers medical, nutrition, and mental health services for students. Students must be registered annually by a parent or guardian to be seen at the Teen Health Center. To receive vaccines, additional consent is required.
To schedule an appointment or learn more about the services available at the Teen Health Center, please call 206-860-0480 or visit the clinic (located in Room 102).
