Garfield Basketball to District Semifinals

Congratulations to the Garfield Girls and Boys Basketball teams on a great start to the postseason!

Garfield Girls won the Metro League Championship, while Garfield Boys placed third. Both teams qualified for Districts and won their first games: Garfield Girls defeated Holy Names Academy 58–39 and Garfield Boys defeated Liberty (Renton) 75–43. With these wins, both teams clinched a spot in the State tournament!

You can watch Garfield Basketball next in the District Semifinals at Bellevue College on Thursday, February 16. Garfield Girls will play Bishop Blanchet at 6:30pm; Garfield Boys will play Eastside Catholic at 8pm.
