GHS Community PTSA is Looking for a Special Projects Chair!

Requirements:
- Be a current member of the PTSA
Responsibilities:
- Bridge between Special Projects teams (see below) and the PTSA Leadership Team
- Work with Team Leads to ensure they have resources and support needed for successful activity
- Attend Board meetings to report out on Team activities
- Attend General Meetings and help plan 1 General Meeting
Team Leads include:
- Teacher Appreciation
- Coordinate 4-5 Teacher Appreciation events during the year
- Membership
- Revise Membership Form each year for first day packet as needed
- Enter PTSA membership into PTSA database (Fall activity)
- Help recruit new members
- Work with Treasurer to deposit fees and pay dues to Seattle Council PTSA
- College and Career
- Work with school counselors to help plan college and career events as agreed upon with the school
- Education Innovation
- Develop partnerships with school and community to support innovation and leadership
- Opportunity Grants
- Large Grants – communicate with large grant recipients about success of program
- Small grants – manage the small grants application and review process. One review cycle in the Fall and one in early Spring. Team of 3 PTSA members; one member acting as Chair
