UW RadioActive Summer Workshop Applications Open

UW’s RadioActive’s 2018 Summer Workshop runs from Thursday, July 5 to Friday, August 17. There’s a mandatory orientation on Thursday, June 28. They meet every Monday–Friday 10 AM – 4 PM. Students may need to put in additional time to complete assignments, and should expect to work up to 40 hours a week.

Workshop meetings will take place at two locations in Seattle’s University District: KUOW’s Studios, and Jack Straw Cultural Center. RadioActive provides all equipment, snacks, and Orca cards as needed. For successfully completing the program, each participant will earn $1200. After completing the workshop, they can stay involved with RadioActive to keep making radio as part of the Advanced Producers group!
