Meet Paige Robson! New 2016 GHS Psychologist

Ms. Robson was an intern at GHS last year and began full-time as school psychologist this fall. She is from Bakersfield, CA and went to Gonzaga, where she majored in Sociology, to play volleyball. She got her Master’s degree in school psychology from Seattle U.

She finds a great sense of pride at Garfield, and a welcoming and supportive community.

Some common challenges she encounters, especially among students transitioning from middle school, are study organization, time management, class behavior, and academics.

Sometimes it is a process of trial and error to find the right strategy to support students, and parents should be willing to be flexible and try new things to help. Students can benefit from knowing their own strengths and weaknesses in order to be their best selves.
