Meet Tom Wojtkowiak! New 2016 GHS Physics Teacher

Mr. Wojtkowiak came to the Seattle area originally to work as a mechanical engineer at Boeing. He then spent two years in the Peace Corps teaching on the Pacific island of Vanuatu! After a Master’s degree in Teaching at the UW he then spent 11 years teaching Physics at Inglemoor High School in Kenmore.

He lives in Seattle and his wife teaches in Seattle so he is now happy to be at Garfield! He is impressed with its teaching philosophy of caring for and considering the needs of students first.

His advice is to stay involved in clubs, activities and sports to become part of the community and take advantage of all the unique opportunities of high school.
