Seattle Times Student Voices Program

The Seattle Times Education Lab Student Voices program is back for a third year. They are looking for a handful of college and high-school students from around the state to share their experiences in Washington’s public school system as guest storytellers, writing for the print newspaper and online.

This year, because Washington has a growing number of homeless students — more than most other states — they are especially looking to elevate the voices of homeless students or youth who might be couch-surfing or don’t have a reliable place to stay. Applications are due on March 18 Sunday, March 25.
