Teen Press Corps Applications Due Thursday, Sept. 27

The Press Corps Intensive is a FREE five-week arts-going and criticism practice workshop. 10 teen applicants will work with professional writers and critics who will help mentor and hone the group’s arts criticism skills. The session includes five different arts events at several TeenTix Arts Partners; you’ll see:

• Theater performances at Seattle Repertory Theatre and Seattle Public Theater
• A visual art exhibit at NAAM
• A film at Three Dollar Bill Cinema
• A concert at Fremont Abbey Arts

After each arts event, you’ll write a review and bring it to Sunday meetings. At each meeting you’ll receive one-on-one feedback on your writing and be able to discuss the art you saw. All ticket costs are covered, and a travel stipend for bus fare to and from events is also available. At the end of the workshop, a review by each participant will be posted on the TeenTix blog! Applications are due by midnight on Thursday, Sept. 27, and all applicants will be notified by Oct. 1.
