Senior Class Meetings

  • 5/24 – Class Meeting during Advisory – Final conversation before finals, Purple & White, Rehearsal, and Graduation

  • Pre-ordered graduation products will be available for pick-up after the 5/24 class meeting and in the Activities Center during lunch

Parking

  • Various lots around the Seattle Center from $10-$15
    • 5th Ave. Garage – 5th Ave N. & Republican Street – Capacity of 1,021 spaces
    • Mercer Garage – 3rd Ave. N. & Roy Street – Capacity of 1,439 spaces
    • 1st Ave. N. Garage – Between John & Thomas Street – Capacity of 654 spaces
    • Second Ave. – 2nd Ave. N. south of Mercer Street – Capacity of 22 spaces
  • Accessible parking available in the lot just east of the Stadium

Graduates

  • Arrive by 7:45 PM
  • Arrive in plenty of time to allow for parking / walking / last minute instructions /talking with and greeting classmates / checking your appearance
  • Please arrive in your cap and gown
  • Enter thru the Memorial Stadium Parking Lot/ North Stands, entrance marked “GRADUATES ONLY”
  • Students will be seated on the Field facing the stage. There is no covering if it rains

Guests

  • There is no limit on number of guests
  • No tickets are required
  • Enter on the Southeast side of the stadium
  • Guests will be seated on the South side of the stadium
  • Please wait to enter until the 5:00 PM ceremony is finished
  • Accessible seating available in sections 9 and 11 on the main level concourse – cannot be reserved
  • Prime, Reserved Group of 10 seats available at PTSA Auction
  • Concessions will not be open during the ceremony

Photography

  • Yuen Lui Photography will be at the Ceremony to take pictures of Graduates receiving their diplomas and of family or group photos upon request. Visit their website to view and purchase photos www.yuenluistudio.com or call 206-622-0561.

During the Ceremony

  • Please hold all applause until the end to give the audience and your classmates the chance to hear EVERYONE’s name being announced
  • NO BALLOONS, SILLY STRING, BAGS/BACKPACKS/PURSES, AIR HORNS OR NOISEMAKERS

After the Ceremony

  • Graduates, please arrange to meet your Families and Guests on the South side of the Stadium – in the area near the fountain
  • Graduates attending Grad Night should meet by the MoPop museum on the Southeast side of the stadium

  • Price $50/$25 Free-Reduced Lunch Program/Scholarship (all transportation, food, entertainment)

  • Grad Night is the annual senior class party sponsored by the PTSA. Immediately following the commencement ceremony on Wednesday, June 20, you will board charter buses and go to two “mystery” party venues for allnight entertainment, food, and fun, before you are deposited back at Garfield around 6:00 am. Final College Transcripts

  • Stamped & Addressed Envelopes must be turned in to the Counseling Office at Senior Check-Out
  • To mail out Final Transcripts to colleges on your behalf
  • Neatly written or typed and have the school name, address, and appropriate postage.
    • Here is a sample: College Name, Attn: Admissions Office, Street Address, City, State zip code
  • Include your Last Name, First Name on the back of the envelope
  • One envelope for each college and YOU need to look up and include the necessary information

Diplomas

  • Available for pick-up after July 8th in the Main Office
