Executive Functioning Small Group for Incoming 9th Grade Students

Garfield High School is offering a new orientation program through Seattle Children’s Hospital for incoming ninth graders with attention, organization, or academic motivation difficulties. The program includes a one-week pre-high school orientation, ongoing weekly peer support, and monthly mentor meetings with a UW undergraduate student. All students participating will receive free school supplies. Parents or guardians are also invited to attend orientation sessions. Due to funding restrictions, students cannot be already receiving Special Education services.
