Redesigned Seattle Public Schools Websites Launch

Seattle Public Schools are launching the district’s redesigned public-facing website on Monday, July 31. In addition, the redesigned school websites will launch in phases during the first two weeks of August.

The web redesign provides a more user-friendly experience. It emphasizes a variety of new features developed to meet end-user requests, including easier navigation, a mobile-friendly platform, and prioritized resources for families such as The Source and calendars prominently displayed.

August 1 – 15

Starting August 1, we will begin a phased launch of the 100 individual redesigned school websites beginning with secondary schools and followed by elementary schools.

Other new features we are working to bring you this fall include:

• Improved search functionality
• District and school calendar subscriptions to make synching events to personal calendars easier
